Details
- Description
- Audio out of sync will become more noticeable during playback, ultimately resulting in dialogue and effects falling significantly out of sync and create a poor customer experience.
Audio sync with video becomes progressively later throughout the programme. For example, the audio is in sync at the beginning, 2-seconds late in the middle, 5-seconds late by the end. - Definition
- Used in Checks, the system shall check for audio sync drift (where audio sync with video becomes progressively later throughout the programme) equal to or above the minimum duration as specified in the input. Optionally the system may report the timecodes of where sync drift was detected.
Used in Reports, the system shall report the timecodes of where sync drift was detected equal to or above the minimum duration as specified in the input. - References
