Description
Visual artifact caused by the limited spatial sampling of a resolved image, often referred to as "jaggies". Visual edges appear to shift sharply and not in a smooth gradient. Typically caused by linear elements not being captured accurately due to by-product of sensor bayer pattern, or scaling of elements with repetitive linear elements that cannot be properly resolved at the desired image resolution.
